Smart Meter Check

The Smart Meter Check generates a report with all known data from a connection.

The following data are requested from the grid operator:

  • Electricity or gas connection
  • Small consumption or large consumption connection
  • Who is the grid operator?

About the present (smart) meter:

Is there a smart meter or an analog one installed?

  • On what date was the current meter installed?
  • Is the current smart meter (if any) suitable for remote reading.
  • What is the status of the connection? (active, out of business, etc).

    Requesting Smart Meter Check #

    The Smart Meter Check can be requested for EANs that are already logged into the account. Select the EAN and click “Request Smart Meter Check.”

    The data is requested from the EDSN and sent as a PDF report within 24 hours.

    Is the EAN not logged into the account? Then it is possible to retrieve the report by entering the EAN and the as ID verification meter number. The meter number is located on the connection’s smart meter.

    After clicking on the agreement statement and submitting the application, the data will be retrieved. The report will be sent within 24 hours.

    Historical data (for small consumption) #

    In addition to reporting, all historical data is also retrieved. It will be made available as a CSV file.

    By default, the following historical data is offered by the grid operators:

  • 10-day quarter dates (electricity) or hourly dates (gas)
  • 40 days daily dates
  • 13 months monthly dates
  • The historical data will be sent within 24 hours as a link to a CSV file.
